Donate Clothes Before Utah’s Winter Weather, Get Free Cheeseburger


OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) – As the weather cools in Utah, many adults and children will need warm clothing to survive the coming winter months.

If you’d like to help out, the ninth annual Warm Bodies, Warm Souls Clothing Drive will be held until November 12th. The clothing drive is sponsored by the Bank of Utah, Arctic Circle and Red Hanger.

To thank people for their generosity, Arctic Circle will be offering coupons for a free double cheeseburger, Red Hanger is offering customers a certificate for free shirt cleaning at a local dry cleaner, and the Bank of Utah will be offering a choice of one of the aforementioned coupons. .

Donations will benefit 13 charities across the state of Utah. Participants can donate new or slightly used coats, scarves, hats, gloves, blankets, underwear and socks. All sizes are accepted.

Donations can be dropped off at any Bank of Utah location, at restaurants in the Arctic Circle (from Tremonton to Spanish Fork), and at Red Hanger locations along the Wasatch Front.

“The warm clothing drive becomes more and more important every year as charities in every community seek to serve more people in need,” said Joe Evans, vice president of marketing and advertising at Arctic Circle. Restaurants. “We are proud to offer more drop-off points at our restaurants and look forward to seeing familiar friends and new faces come to all of our locations to donate. “
