A list of TV shows and movies you can’t miss streaming in June 2022
It’s all about superheroes this month on our favorite streaming platforms, with The boys season 3 and a new Marvel series as part of the slate of new shows releasing in June 2022.
Fans will be treated to the return of their favorite characters in the new seasons of The boys and The Umbrella Academy. They will also be introduced to the MCU’s latest addition – Ms. Marvel this month.
That said, the other non-superhero offerings that will premiere on major streaming platforms are nothing short of awe-inspiring. Occupying our must-have list of new shows streaming in June 2022 is the Korean remake of Money theft as good as Westworld Season 4. We’ve also added a few movies, for those days when you don’t feel like committing to a series.

The boys season 3

The war between Supes and humans continues in The boys season 3. It’s been a quiet year since the events of season 2. Homelander is overpowered and Butcher works for the government, overseen by Hughie of All People. But both men are eager to turn that peace and tranquility into blood and bone. So when the boys learn of a mysterious anti-Supe weapon, it sends them crashing into all seven, starting a war, and chasing the legend of the first superhero: Soldier Boy.

Hustle

Firsts: June 3
Platform: netflix
Funnyman Adam Sandler gives a potentially award-winning performance in his latest movie Hustle, a heartfelt, inspirational, and masterfully shot and written basketball drama. Sandler plays Stanley Sugerman, a basketball scout who discovers Bo Cruz (Utah Jazz’s Juancho Hermangomez) a raw but hugely talented player in Spain, and goes to great lengths to get him into the NBA. Hustle is produced by Sandler and basketball great Lebron James, and features real athletes like Hermangomez, Anthony Edwards and retired player Julius “Dr. J” Irving. This film received rave reviews and is now Sandler’s highest rated film on Rotten Tomatoes. Definitely a must-have watch, even if you’re not a fan of the sport.

The MAX Original documentary delves into the unusual life of the late storyteller, explorer and chef Anthony Bourdain. Directed and produced by Academy Award-winning director Morgan Neville (20 feet from fame), the documentary offers a glimpse into the life of the larger-than-life personality who took viewers around the world on his culinary adventures.

Westworld Season 4

The Emmy-winning HBO Original drama series looks back on the dark odyssey of the dawn of artificial consciousness and the birth of a new form of life on Earth. After the Season 3 finale, the sci-fi series took a turn into the unknown with some of its main characters. Delores Abernathy is presumed dead, the Man in Black was killed by a robot version of himself, while Bernard disappeared into the Sublime. But as previous seasons have shown us, all is not what it seems in Westworld.
